Food Review : Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf

Super belated post ! This was on Mothers Day .. I am pretty sure . 

So here's another Food review , which I have not been doing lately. All I do is eat and not do any review. Lol #nofacetosayI'mAbloggeranymore 

On Mother's Day we decided to go try out the oh so famous Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad wolf for Dinner. We literally Wazed the location even though while walking .The fact that we were so close yet so far, we almost gave up eating it. Seriously, the location of this restaurant in Bangsar is a bit too.. not expected. Some people did say it was unique but WHO PUTS an entrance of a (High Class almost) Restaurant INSIDE a Grocery Store ( Cold Storage if I'm not mistaken ) ? 

Oh well, we found it anyway... 

They have different menu's for lunch and dinner , from what I've heard. However we went only during dinner, so the concept was Big Bad Wolf. Therefore , what does the Big Fat Wolf eats? PORK !  

Pork Knuckles, super.. very.. BIG.. portion.  RM98 

Probably a serving for 4-5. Eating one piece of it already makes me fill so full = Jelak. 

But oh gosh, it's so good. Meat is tender, fries are yummy and gosh the mashed potatoes with added secret spices, I could eat them forever ! 

 and then we had The Wolf Favourite Pasta, RM29.  That's what they name it. Okay.. I don't really remember how this taste like haha but It's good I swear. Pork pieces plus the creamy texture and that poached egg.

Who the hell doesn't love poached eggs? ? ? D: 

EEEEGGGGGHHHHH ! ! ! Don't you see it?!  ( o v e r  r e a c t i n g ) but its okay because it's so good.

 Nothing could go wrong when you order an Aglio Olio Spaghetti, RM 19 . The aroma of it is still on the tip of my nose. So good you cannot resist. omg 

So, what is full without desserts?! 

White Chocolate Creme Brulee RM15. 

I admit it is costly for this small cup of dessert but hey, look at the bright side, you'll get to savour something so soft and creamy ( amazing texture ! ) oh and get fat ( well I don't think that is something good but who cares ), 

It looks like tofu, but NOTHING LIKE TOFUUU. 

Yum, are you hungry? haha 

Uhmm the picture doesn't look too appetizing but it definitely looks better in real life. Anyway, pictures can be deceiving ! You have to eat it your self. 

Salted Caramel Chocolate Fudge Cake , RM 15 . 

The best is when you eat it with ice cream. It's the Bomb in your mouth! Best combination ever ! 

So the total add up .. 

 I admit it is very costly for a meal. haha but having it occasionally is fine right? ( eg, Mothers Day )

Definitely a recommendation for this Restaurant !

Food Review: Brewyard Coffee

Hello! I'm back with another food review today. My sister decided to try out a newly opened restaurant called Brewyard coffee introduced by her Hair stylist. He did mention it was not bad...  but .. continue reading and you'll know.

We went there to have a chatting session with some friends over dinner. Brewyard coffee is located in SS15 , nearby Station 1 Cafe. Their sign board is quite dim and dark so you got to open your eyes real big literally to search during the night lol. My friend  kept going a few rounds around that area because he could not see the sign board. Probably he's just old too. 

The side Sign Board of the restaurant is bright though..

So, what about the food ? He said it was not bad. Well... honestly it is not bad but taste wise, I think their chef could do better. But then again, they just opened and is still new. Their food might get better as time goes by. They have different menu's during brunch/lunch and dinner. Since we went during dinner hour.. this was what we got. 

I had a plate of smoked Salmon pasta. I liked the smoked salmon but I think the pasta sauce was a little too creamy-ish thick and .. tasteless. Anyway the smoked Salmon was there was a reason. Smoked salmon is salty hence have to eat with the pasta. Oh Btw they had poached egg with it too!

Looks really good eh! But disappointingly the poached egg wasn't what I expected ) :  It  feels watery in my mouth, could be because they soaked the poached egg too long in cold water overnight. Taste wasn't there too. 

We also had their peperoni pizza. Their pizza was surprisingly good :) Ingredient are simple but it's delicious! 

We also ordered their smoked salmon pizza. They only serve three kind of pizza for their dinner menu. The other was chicken mushroom. Pizza is a Should Order when you visit. 

Desserts: 

This was their signature, Lemon Cheesecake. It is not bad actually. The only thing I did not like was the texture of the cheesecake. Cheesecakes are supposed to be creamy , mushy and soft but this texture is a little like pudding. They overdosed on the gelatin ) :

My friend ordered their pancake with fruit sauce. ( According to the chef him ) He said the fruit they used was wrong. It shouldn't be Nangka/ Jackfruit because of it's strong smell.  Really he studied culinary btw. To me it was okay because I enjoy eating Jackfruit. But then again, isn't strawberry sauce would probably be a better choice? haha 

The pancakes was a little hard too. That part I agree. Pancakes are meant to be really light and fluffy. 

The only drink we ordered was their hot chocolate. If you're up for any Artisan coffee, Brewyard Coffee is not yet a good choice. 

Now you know what I mean? lol 

I think they are currently finding/hiring Barista's. Who knows one day they have really creative and talented Barista's to do Artisan coffee! Anyway, taste wise for this cup of hot chocolate was okay. It's sweet, just like any other hot chocolate you drink at other cafe's. I'm sorry, beverages are just out of my league lol. 

Food Review: Burger Tory

 I really can't wait for my semester break. Or should I say Assignment Break? Sad part is , it's only one week. * cries * Whyyyyyyyy . It sure have been busy for the past few weeks. One more busy week to go! Pretty much going to be busy finishing assignments but I doubt I will finish it in school because just like any other common ordinary people , we'd be '' oh , it's okay I will finish it during the one week of semester break. '' So I will pretty much know how my days will fly during the miserable one week.

I really miss orientation week. Miss the fun and re-laxness, not so busy kind of life in university. Met up unexpectedly at the plaza with some orientation friends and was suddenly forced to be part of her assignment project.

Situation 1, I'm the only one not looking at the camera. Question is, Why???

This was really funny because my friend had to take picture of two different situations among a group of people. So the first was, WE were all suppose to look at the camera but you see my phone suddenly vibrated ( therefore the vibration sends nerve impulses to my brain blah blah and I looked at my phone ) at the very same moment she snaps the picture. And when she checks the camera she's like,'' Haiya, I told you to look at the camera why you look at your phone?! ''

me: lol, Opps, Sorry. 

Anyways, Ladies and Gentlemen. I need to go shopping. seriously. I got nothing to wear anymore. not literally but you know, as a female you can't always wear the same clothings  again and again and again. I am lack of clothes! You feel me right ladies?  I just did some online shopping but it is never enough. I am sooooooooooo deprived from shopping!  Blame classes, assignments, activities and inconvenience. If you are going anywhere to shop, especially KL, please I beg you , bring me. lol

and yes, burger. lol 

I had Burger Tory for dinner. Yes I know it is very very very fattening , unhealthy whatever but sometimes you need to try eat good food to stay alive. To be honest, after Uni started, everything I eat except veges feels so guilty because I couldn't burn them as much  very much anymore. ): cries a whole river .

Burger Tory is located opposite SS14, at SS15 which I call the very common place to eat burgers. You go straight, burger shop, go right, burger shop, go left, burger shop, turn back, burger shop juga. Too many burger shops competing for customers lol.  Map, phone number, address all below.  Burger Tory is located upstair and only sells Pork and Beef burgers. The price range of the burgers are quite similar to Carl's Junior, Burger factory, Burger Lab, Big hug burger ect ect. 

To be honest the place is quite small. If they are going to sell good burgers, they should really extend the place and have more tables and chairs. It's not that we waited long for a table. Just I find it quite compact/ crowded a little for a dine in burger shop. But overall the place is nice, cool and cozy. Thumbs up for that. 

Free flow of Soft drinks and GOOD COFFEE guys! Gosh the mocha was good! :D

 My burger I had.

This is called Bacon Paradise with Cheddar Mild Cheese, Homemade Candy Bacon Bits and 2 Strip Homemade Candy Pork Bacon as it's filling. This is deffinitely recommended ! It tasted good .  If you like the taste of Bagua. This is the perfect choice to pick.  It's Rm19 for ala-carte. I ordered the mash potato set which cost Rm6 with free flow hot drink. Gosh, the mash potato taste good itself and also because of the pork sauce which reminds me of pasta sauce. ( I love em ) 

Close up Bacon Paradise burger :) Look at the cheeeeseee . The patty is huge toooo. One thing I'm not so happy about is that they don't put much vegetables into the burgers. ( Unless you ordered the veggie burger then that's  a different story ) 

This was one of the newest burger on the menu. It's called Porky Nest hich cost RM 15 ala-carte. 

According to my friend, it's good but he still prefers the Bacon Paradise burger. But guys, you should try the fries. It's good! 

This is the Bacon Bits Bull burger. It cost RM16 for ala-carte which also falls under the must try list. I did not try this but it looks good. 

To be honest again, I am actually quite bad at judging good burgers. But according to my chef friend he says Burger Tory and Burger Lab is the best. So if you're nearby or planning to go have burger, you should try both places out. 

So, that's all for the review.
