JAPAN: Tokyo #2- DisneySea, Chiba, Tokyo.

I know in my previous blog post, I said I will blog about Akita and snow. But come to think of it , I should drag on the Tokyo mood instead of potong steam-ing halfway (!!!) I went around Tokyo again for the second time on 4th of January this year. :D and I thought I would never walk on Tokyo streets ever again ( the saddest face ) .

After I reached Tokyo station in Ueno, checked into ChiSun hotel, we went straight ahead to the Skytree.

The very mighty ,tall Skytree. right infront of my eyes :D Sorry but that's not my view of the Skytree. This is ..

It doesn't look that pretty during the day. blehh.. It looks more classy during the night but you see...

This is such a horrible shot ): oh well. The only picture which wasn't that blur. My photographer was shaking a little too much. ):

Had some Bites before we went up. Hugryyy peopleeee Likeee meee needs tooo EAT.

Got the tickets ready and Up we go to to the 350m floor!

The Sun was setting!!! SO THE VIEW OF MAGNIFICENT omg. It is so, SO SO Pretty. Earth Illumination all the way lol.

My eyes, seriously. I really like how the colour blends in the clouds. and the '' pika pika'' lights.

This picture, taken with the digital camera. * Self enhancement * self contrast * lol It's so bright. But it brings out the colours (!!)

We even head higher up to 450m . The view was great. I admit I really liked the lift . lol

.
The view on top of the lift is so cool lol.

'' mabishi (!) ''

Okay, got down the skytree, which took us about 30minutes. It was so crowded. We took the train to Harajuku and shop around Takeshita Dori (again ). But I need to shop (! ) pity me okay?  There's only Aeon shopping malls in Akita ))): lol

Harajuku Illumination. It got quite cold during the night. I was literally shivering  /:

Okay, So here comes the next day. The most awaited day when I reached Tokyo! Well not really the most, I wanted to go Harajuku to shop very badly too . ( Truth )' To DisneySea!

yay yay yay

Selfies before leaving the hotel. My room mate ;D

Disney's electric train. So cute! Find the Hidden Mickey! Ok maybe not, its not hidden lol.

A little sneak peak of a view of DisneySea.

A greeting from the disney characters! Really cute ! They kept jumping and waving and Dancing. too cute. lol

Met Pinochio's creator!

And met Pinochio! This are the only mascots I met on that day ):

Can you find the Hidden Mickey?

where is it?

And here's a clear one :)

Another good view with me being a ' Japanese '. lol

And I've seen this in Sunway Lagoon before. I'm not sure if it's the same. It;s brown too. (!!) ( obviously lolol)

Cute red Trains...

Sat the on the ''Genie '' Go round practically it's the same as Mary go round. lol I changed the name.

And A selfie with him.

From my opinion, I liked Ariel's castle the most. Maybe because I have always liked Little Mermaid. But the decorations and designs for Under the Sea is amazingggggg (!)

It's really boost out my imagination and omg the colours, so pretty. Literally you feel like you're in the aquarium.

Ariel's castle. I watched the Little Mermaid's theatre but am not allowed to take pictures or videos. So sadly I did not get any photos. The play was amazing. Too magical ! The props used are really creative.

wee...! omg look at me, I'm either like a tourist with so many bags and stuff or either a Japanese kid being very disney lol

We added a little more disney-ish to ourselves. Popcorn bucket! Isn't it creatively cute?! Hahaha. But the truth , the popcorns wasn't that nice. There wasn't much Caramel  and wasn't spread evenly. But anyway, Minnie's bow bucket is good!

Got our selves Churro's! It's my first time trying it. Too cuteeee! But taste wise...so so

Minnie mouse Churro, Strawberry flavour.
I couldn't really taste the Strawberry ) ) ) :

Mickey shape! So cute to the maximummmm * cries * (!!!)

Head on to a roller coaster ride. No pictures are allowed inside so, oh well. and yes, my heart flew when the roller coaster free falls down. lol. Blame the monster's/ dinosaurs for scaring me too. This doubled up my heart rate.

Saw this Cute Donald Duck hat and I WANT IT (@#!$#!!) IT's SO CUTE overload. Huge head , small body. what?! i need it for my head !

Don't we look ten years younger? or maybe 5 at least? hahah

'' sashi sashi ''

Hello Alladin's place :) I did so much ''peace '' sign's in most if my photos in Japan. Turning Japanese omg. yay.lol

And so, the day ends darker. Disney itself is kind of like an island. It have everything there from hotels to food to ... . The fun part is, it's all base on Disney characters! :)

JAPAN:Tokyo #1 : Walking in Tokyo.

Happy New Year! I know I'm a week late but better to wish than to not.

I just got back from Japan yesterday. I was really tired but I couldn't resist from watching my last four episodes of Korean Drama that I left out before flying to Japan. So in the end I slept probably about 4 am? Lol blame myself for being so sleepy today.

Some of you must have know that I have always always always wanted to go Japan since I don't know when. But I'm pretty sure it was since Junior High. But seriously, I bet 80 percent of my friends desire Japan too.

It's one hour ahead in Japan. Reached to Narita airport at about 6 am+, Japan time . During Winter, The sky gets dark at about 4.30pm and brightens up at about 5.30 am.

Touch down in Narita Air Port!

Happy faces with my YE's :D

We got separated into smaller groups after getting our luggage. The adults in the picture was the one that brought us around Tokyo. There was another young lady , but sadly I did not have any clear picture of her ): sadly.

And then we left for Harajuku!

Tokyo ourdoor railways.

Indoor subway.

and Inside the Train.

It thought you'd be interested lol

If only Malaysia was safe enough to have lockers like this to put our fat luggage . lol Very very convenient of Japan :)

And,
Hello Takeshita Dori. The place I can only imagine shopping in my dreams but now have finally came true. lol  * The best smile I can ever give * 8D

picture! picture!

A little sneak peak of Takeshita Dori's street.

The truth is, I only window shopped. How silly. Come to think of it I should have shop on that day. But then at that time I was only of thinking not to use my cash so fast because I still have 3 weeks in Japan. I can't afford to go bankrupt too fast * Horror! * !

Birds in Japan are fat and fluffy and cute and round, unlike the skinny birds here ):

I am pretty sure that everyone knows that Food in Japan, whether is edible or just packaging, It's always so colourful or cute and unique that it attracts most people's eye, like mine lol. But beware, It looks pretty but most of the time really sweet, or salty .

Hello Crepe shop. You're so pink, I like you :))))))))

Even the display crepes looks so appetizing. Too many choices. It makes me too happy * cries * lol

and more ...

And my choice was:

Apple cinnamon :D

The display looks Better T___T

So then we walked around Harajuku, took pictures :D Enjoy the scenery, the air, the cold wind, the sky, everything .

Went to see some Christmas decorations in some shopping complex nearby which was quite cool.

The white cylinder screen actually tells a Christmas story. Really Pretty I can say.

Then we head off to a Shrine and make a wish. Walked a lot on stones with my platform. How convenient ):

Many many sake's.

Pretty Orange Trees.

And finally after much walking on rocks and stones, We finally reached the shrine/ temple / to be honest I don't know what it's call. But in Chinese it's Nan Shen Men. East God Door? LOl I'm pretty sure it doesn't sound like that in Japanese.

And that's all for the first day of Tokyo in Japan. After the visiting, Left to the train station, got our luggage and bags . And we separated. I had a 3 hours ride to Akita-Ken.

And the post about Akita will be next. Stay tune for Snow!

Here comes my Winter Holiday

Finally, the time has arrived. After all the back to back events, my true holiday is finally here! I have been so busy after Spm. Stressful and tiring at the same time. Well, it isn't the same kind of busy or stress like the one during examination lol. It's just, too much events and activities back to back for two weeks!

Helping out in Vacation Bible School once a year is already tiring but helping out twice can really drain out your energy. Imagine children as young as 4 years old concentrating on what a teacher is speaking. It's quite impossible isn't it. Their attention lifespan is like what? 1 minute?! But not all kids are these young. The kids are really adorable no matter what age are they. It's really amazing how they can actually enjoy something i thought it was kind of lame. But children are childrens, their mind are clean and innocent. That is one good point about being a young child.

One of the prizes the children can win at the end of VBS. A BABY TARANTULA . omg.

And A Venus Flytrap.

Interesting isn't it? lol

So yesterday, I started feeling so excited about my trip to Japan! It's not like I was never excited. Just the fact that I will not be staying in Tokyo / or near Tokyo made me a little disappointed. My host family stays up North in Akita. I have to travel another 4-6 hours to Akita after I reached the airport in Narita. But the reason why I was happy because I will have to go Tokyo from Narita to catch a bullet train to Akita. Conclusion , I will be stopping by Tokyo at least! It will be nice if my host family could bring me around Tokyo for a few days. But I felt like it was quite impossible as the travelling cost is expensive and the distance from Akita is quite far. Further than Kuala Lumpur to Penang.

Akita is a prefecture of Japan located in the Tōhoku region of northern Honshu, the main island of Japan. I read that people in Akita dominates traditional industries. Akita is also famous for rice farming and sake. This probably means that there will be plenty of sake to drink during winter lol. Onsen are also famous there. It makes me nervous thinking about hot spring in Japan lol. Err, naked in Public bath outside?  omg

My own name card lol. The truth is, I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am nervous about the cold weather but I am more nervous about communicating with my host family. Both of my host families cannot speak English and I am not good in Japanese either. Even though I know some words,  it isn't enough to communicate well . I exchanged about Rm 1000 for 30000 Yen. Man, this hurt my wallet . Rm 1000 felt so much when the 30 000 Yen was only 3 pieces of 10000 Yen. lol. It felt so little. lol

Packing clothings for a winter holiday can be quite a pain. My luggage gets loaded with things fast because the clothings are so thick and huge. I even brought Malaysian traditional snacks over for my host family. Also bought some souvenirs and brought Bak Ku Teh spices so that I can cook for them :)

Three weeks oversea, I am going to miss Malaysian food. The first thing I'll eat when I get back next year is definitely Roti Canai lol.  I had Lao Sao Pao before I left. I'm going to miss the flowy egg yoke custard inside it. Hopefully I'll get to eat something better than all this in Japan. :D Can't wait for a good ramen!

Btw, Merry Christmas! I know it's early but I will not be blogging till next year. Follow me in instargram to follow my updates ! :)
